Is it possible to lock the width of a table cell so that it will cut text words apart (as in seperating a lengthy word onto two lines)? Whenever I add a really long word to a table cell that is, say, 100 pixels wide, the table cell expands.

did you specify the exact width of the table cell? that is usually what you do in order to maintain the width.
