I think the domain name could be an issue with the company owning the rights of the game.

But still You can develop a blog or anything on it and earn some nice revenue with it.

Yes I'm very aware of that fact, so looking at best ways to use the name, for example grandtheftautothree.com is just like a standard directory page. But then theres sites like grandtheftautofour.net that link to a GTA fan site, with latest news and rumours about the game....

What do you think would be the best way forward?
A blog with latest news/rumours perhaps?

Yes this would be the best choice. You can monetize the traffic with some ads and it will be more fruitful then trying to sell this domain name as a domain name alone.

Well for begin you could use domain for news about game,and later make fan site.

You can get the latest News RSS feeds from moreover.com

And if you want to integrate more then one feed then try searching squidoo.com

I myself have created one page there for the RSS.

You can search for pages with similar content to your domain name and you will get the RSS feeds for it.
