Mostly I appraise domains but this time the table has been flipped and I am on the other end.

I just got Lawrencia.com

Registered today 2 minutes ago. So No age of domain name and Ofcourse no PR for it.

Right now parked.

I know it might not be looking good to many people and I would like to hear that also. Please give me some good and bad points that comes to your mind after seeing this domain name.

I had a baby names database and if a baby is named from it then those babies will grow up I ran whole list and found some domains from it that were available. This looked good to me so regged it.

Interesting. I did a Google search and see that it is the name of a plant, which is good, and also the first name of a woman killer, about whom a movie was made.

Overture shows there were 143 searchs for "lawrencia bembenek".

While many mothers may not choose this as a name if they know about the movie, I would say that the name is good. If some medicinal use is ever found for the plant it could be quite valuable.

No ads are showing in Google, so I think income value may be low, but I think it may be a good long-term investment domain.

Did you get this name from a list of baby names? Is there some sort of site you plan on building around this domain?

IC yes I found this from baby names database. I have also found some others I don't plan to invest heavily right now but I have them in hotlist. If someone else wants to then I can send the list to them :grin:

I am not planning to put any site on it right now but I think I will just use it for my research purposes. Like uploading scripts on it and testing and all that stuff. I don't have any fixed ideas right now for it. But if something comes to mind then I will surely make it into a good website.
