I just want your views on the best investment option you would choose.. I mean where u get month returns or Atleast quaterly returns..

Supposing you got 30 to 40 lakhs.. Where would u invest which could give good returns monthly..

I know Real Estate is a good option.

Or you can say Bank FD's where this days we get around 9 to 10%..

Stock market is onething.. but dont want to risk...

I had to look up "lakhs" and it said it was 100,000.

Asking for financial advice on a domainer forum may not be the best way to go... :-) Perhaps a financial forums would be better?

But since you asked, I will make some comments.

"Safe" investments and good returns generally work agaist each other. The more safe an investment, the lower the return. The more risk the higher the return. Financial advisors will generally tell you to "diversify" your investments, since pretty much all investments have some level of risk. Gold, diamonds, stocks, bonds, domains, real estate, coins, movie star autographs, etc. all depend on what other people think they are worth.

You should really contact an expert financial advisor. Here in the US then charge by the hour or take a 1% fee of your investments. That may sound like a lot and it is, but if they are increasing your investments value by 7-8-9-10% a year, then it can be worth it.

thnks for the replies. I just posted as it was a general forum. and ever1 would love to get good investment stuff. and many ppl do investment here and there so sometimes u may come across good things. which could help otheres.

so just wanted reviews on what u all do. was looking 4 something in india. a s I'm 4rm india. but would also like to hear from every1 from all countries.

one more thing is how much % you can get for ur safe investments. just pure safe investment.

something like say bannk FD's. here in india we get around 9.5% to 10% which is good n safe..

I'm interested in the bank FDs. Is that something that foreigners can invest in? 9-10% from a safe investment would be awesome.

We have a CD (Certificate of Deposit) in a Swiss bank, but I think it is about the same percentage and I'm not sure how "safe" it is.

It looks like CD rates in the US are averaging about 5-6% right now. CDs are pretty safe for the most part and may be the same thing as your FD.

Yes bank Fix Deposit Pays good amount. And this are the SAFEST investment. But what i told 9.5% is Yearly....

And you can open an account just need to inquire few details

I don't know much about investments. The admin of this forum is my friend and a great person always willing to help. Right now he is out of station gone to receive his wife. He might be back tommorow as per my phone conversation with him. He has good idea of investments and securities although he is not much literate then me, myself. If you are taking ome steps then please give me 1 or 2 days. I did mentioned this thread to him and he is coming back as soon as possible. Thanks getaddited. I did have questions like you. Moreover I can also understand the problems it can create when you don't have much knowledge of the investments. I had been in same situations before and had to go here and there asking for tips without disclosing my own financial records to a totally unknown person. I was 24 at that time and didn't knew a thing about it.

Let's first clear the things out. You want to make investments - safe investments also want security and how about tax exemptions. :grin: Money management is also an art. Properly managed money can really make our lives easier and give us more resources to use even when we are doing business. Once you know that you cannot go poorer then the fixed amount of money then your business tactics also gain extra edge that it never had before.

So the Age 24 is really a confusing age for investors lol... As im also 24 now :D..

The Thing is i need some kind of investment where i get monthly returns.. It should be safe investments. That money i would be putting in this investment shoul be very safe. But where i get monthly returns or atleast quaterly.

Coz the thing is im making good money through Domaining. And Thts the only thing for me. Its my biz its everything.. So The money i make i would like to put somewhere where i can a good constant income every monthly or quaterly. So supposing this Domaining turns weired some day i should be prepare of all the things and i should get constant income..

I know im disclosing it.. But its good for every one who are here.. Everyone would like to hear and give there views. So its for us only..

So what i was preparing is Is there anything where i could make around 30000 to 50000 bucks monthly through da investment.. I have good amount of capital. But Thts the only thing i have currently so dont wish 2 risk at all :D. i know a little risk is everywhere.. But you understand what i mean....

So thats what i was looking for.. I have onething in my mind that is Bank FD's. The % this days have gone good enough.. And around 9.5% im getting. So thts 1 thing.. Anything better than that if you know :)
