Okies i understand Its a very low price.. But we do get domains.. I bought around 275 domains in this 7 days @ below $3

I got most of them from * and namepros... And We really get the domains for cheap..

There are so many people Who buy domains and then those are kinda junk to them and just 3 to 4 months left for renewal And i know they will never renew.. So they sell the domains for cheap..

Im still getting few offers from * and namepros.. And ppl keep pm ing me ...

I know @ this rate u will not get good or even decent names.. would be close to junk.. But im just in a search of normal names... As i need OLD NAMES ...

Just An example.. one guy i bought from him 106 domains for $325 and he had just normal names.. big names... But in that list he has some few nice names.. just compared to others...

I got 1 that was gotnano.com and u will not believe 2 days back i got an offer from afternic and 1 guy has demanded me $120... And i accepted the offer happily

So Thats the way..

I just want old names and @ of penuts....If you have just give it a shot..

And i dont want .info

But i may accept .org , .biz , .net

hey...but what are you going to do...of all these domains.......
i mean you cant sell them....because they will be sold for a price as much as you bought them for................................moreover you eventually have to rename them as you said the domains have only 4 to 5 months left for expiry, so that is going to cost you money.....$106* 5...assuming the lowest rate of domain renewal!!

And i dont suppose you are going to bulid websites of them!!

I am new to this...but this is how i interpret it...hope i am right..am i?

I think when you're dealing with that many domains, there is bound to be a diamond in the rough, so to speak - one of them is probably going to be worth way more than the rest.

By this method, one could create a profit...

Just a note about user getaddicted: I have talked with him a couple of times and if you want to know about domaining from some that has been doing it for awhile and been successful, go to his profile and do a search for his threads and posts. They will answer a lot of your questions and more that you have not asked yet...!

Domaining is mostly about finding ones that bring you money when they are parked, or that you think have more value than they are being sold for. As you can see in his example, one domain sale to the right person paid for about a third of his investment.

It's not so much about buying one domain and selling it for thousands, although that does happen sometimes. Its more about buying something cheap and doubling your money. If you can buy things for $3 and sell them for $5 or $6 then that is nice profit.

Too many domain owners are greedy or expect too much and wind up buying domains that don't sell. If they also don't earn any money then you are losing money on the renewal fees.

I know a guy that bought 1,000 domains last August. Well, his domains have not earned him much and now he needs to earn the renewal fees or he will lose them!!! :-(

I do a gamble of few hundreds of $....for a domain names.

Coz you cant predict in this industry.. any Domain could worth be anything.

i already have a good portfolio and i just squeeze around here and there and search for names... And as roogle said "there is bound to be a diamond in the rough". He is spot on.......

You can't predit anything... your domain could be worth anything.

So what excatly i do is.. i get domains for cheap.. Try getting cheap deals as much as i can... You need to search a lot here and there... And u can risk for few $ a domains.. i try to get domains atleast which have 4 months left for expiry. In that 4 months u can do lods of things.. I just first park this domains for a month and see any domains getting traffic. And i have came accross so many times that traffic is there on most of the domains little but fine.... Then i try to sell this domains for aroun $7 to $10....

And i do get buyers. few domains get sold.. many dont.. just try to get small profit :grin:.

Just an example i tell u.. i bought this 106 domains. for $325.

now i checked few domains are getting decent amount of traffic. few are getting nothing.. but its fine....

I told u out of those 106 domains gotnano.com i got offer for $120. Now i will try selling other domains for $10 to $15 maximum...currently.. As the domains come closer to expiry i reduce the price an when domain have just 1 month left i sell for around $2 to $3. try selling as much as i can.. But on an average i double my profit.. atleast i make around $700.. not always i make that much but many a times i do get... atleast i get the amount what i have bought for... sometimes i may not.. but its all fine...

U need to just do lods of things going and in that u may get good names, u learn lods of things, u come accross many people u make friends and this gets on and on....

If i make profit i just invest in good names. An thts one way i increase my portfolio...

The main thing is if ur selling domain names dont just offer any stupid price...

I see so many domains on NAMESLOT which people are selling.. And when i see the price people just put anything...

for a any stupid name people put $100 $200 anything... And then once the domains doesnt get sold.. then this domains either expire or then sell it for very very cheap.. AND PEOPLE LIKE ME CAPTURE IT :grin::grin:. Be smart. book decent profit.. dont overcharge ur domains..

U have bought a domain for $3 to $7 and if ur making $50 to $75 that is 10 times of ur investment.. And i dont know if there is any biz which can give u that much returns...


Anyways. this is my experience. now It depends on people to people. But i have came accross so many things So shared my experience...
