so is it better to develop some of these site into full websites to make any money from them? The other domains that are not worth much, i may as well ebay off, that way i can suss out how to transfer the domains.

Hello gadge. If your domain registrar allows a free push of domain name to the new accounts which most of the registrars allow nowadays, then you can push it to the new owner when you sell it off.

If you are going to develop some sites on this domains then you know to get a good amount of traffic you will need to market your site. And after that also if there is no good traffic then your hard work will go in vain.

I would have sold all this domains or forget some of them and start concentrating on better domains that have more develop able future ahead of them. Just to make sure that the things go right.

i have a few more questions if you dont mind.

I own the domain name of my local village (xxxxxvillage.co.uk), now that village maybe inside cheshire council. Would i be wise to get in touch my that council and ask if they wanted to buy the domain from me?

Is there money to be made from forums? i could make askwomen.co.uk into a womens only forum?

For the domain name yes you are the rightful owner of the domain name and those people are not going to kill you for that.

So you can ask them :)

At the most they will say NO to your offer. But why to wait get it rolling.

For the askwomen thing. It would be a nice idea for women's forum. But just watch out that the moderators are also women. And the members are all women. Because Guys like me might find this a lovely heaven full of only women to get some dates and make friends ;)
