Domain issue

Regarding the domain and the domain name, I have a few basic questions. I have some domains and sub-domains. I bought them from a cheap domain provider. I have planned to keep a good blog into the sub domain. According to this plan, I have done a few but now I want the blogs to be on their own domain. In the main site, my domain has good keywords. I just wanted to know about messing my domain when I create a new blog that will have a different niche. The question is – if the blog is on cancer then what would happen? What would be the effect? Please suggest!
