intitle:
Finds pages that have the term(s) in the HTML title element. Can be combined with other search terms. intitle:search engines. This should find 'search' in the title and 'engines' anywhere in the page.

inurl:
Finds pages that have the term(s) somewhere in the URL (host name, path, or filename). Can be combined with other search terms. inurl:searchenginewatch.

allintitle:
Finds pages that have the term(s) in the HTML title element. allintitle:search engines.

link:
Finds pages which contain hypertext links to the exact specified URL. link:searchengineshowdown.com/search finds pages with links to this site. Unfortunately, on Google, link: searches are incomplete and do not retrieve all pages that Google has indexes that link to the specified URL

allinurl:
Finds pages that have the term(s) somewhere in the URL (host name, path, or filename). allinurl:searchenginewatch.

site:
Finds pages from the designated Web site. Path and file names can be included. site:notess.com/write

allinanchor:
Finds pages that have the term(s) somewhere in the links to the page. .

related:
Invokes GoogleScout to find other pages similar in linkage patterns to the given URL and at a similar hierarchical level. The URL must be exact. In other works related:notess.com and related:www.notess.com find different results.

numrange:
Finds a range of numbers. Either 5..11 or numrange:5-11 works. See number searching section below.

pricerange:
Finds a range of numbers prefixed by the $ sign. Either $5..11 or pricerange:5-11 works. See number searching section below.

Limits to pages containing links to the specified domain. linkdomain:notess.com (do not include the http://)

url:
Finds exactly one specific URL in the database. url:http://searchengineshowdown.com/features/

inurl:
Finds parts (words) within indexed URLs. inurl:features

originurlextension:
File type limit. Use file extension after colon. originurlextension:xls

language:
Invokes the language limit when followed by the two letter language code as in language:en

loc: or location:
Specifies a country or region using two character country or region codes as in loc:au

link:
Finds pages linked to the given URL. Can include http://, and the results are usually the same with or without an initial www. link:name.com/path

linkdomain:
Limits to pages containing links to any page within the specified domain. Alphabetic and numeric (IP) domains can be used. linkdomain:notess.com (do not include the http://)

linkfromdomain:
Lists external links from pages on the specified site. linkfromdomain:notess.com

contains:
Limits results to page with links to the file type specified as in symphonies contains:mp3

ip:
Results are hosted at the given IP address which must be a dotted quad numeric address. ip:216.92.207.177

prefer:
Does not change number of results, but does change ranking (although not as much as I would expect) prefer:review

feed:
Finds RSS and Atom feeds containing the search terms. feed:news

hasfeed:
Finds Web pages with the search term that contain a link to an Atom or RSS feed. hasfeed:research

url:
Finds if the given URL is in the database. Can include http:// or not. url:name.com
