RE: Hi All!
Hi RC, glad to hear you enjoy our service. We always love to hear positive feedback and suggestions and I hope you continue to work with us. Now, don't to the nitty gritty...
1) Not 100% sure on this one without looking at the account, I presume that our system deemed the keyword irrelevant with regards to the domain, thus rejecting it. You should be able to type in a new one though, which will turn yellow, then go up for keyword review, then turn green when it is approved. Not sure why it would completely lock you out of being able to change it. Again, I can't say for sure without checking out the account. If you want to PM me your name, email, or account id, I can look into it for you.
2) Yes, we have a--I think--very cool and convenient preview feature. When you are in your portfolio settings area (this is the screen in which you change your keywords, headers, etc), there is a magnifying/looking glass next to the "keyword" field. Click that and, when a new window opens, click "customize" at the very top. From there, you can now change the keyword, header, template, country view, category, et al. Then hit refresh on the right and immediately see it update. Once done, make sure you hit ok when exiting to save changes, or "cancel" to discard changes.
3) Not exactly sure when we will do this, but we've had requests for it somewhat frequently, so I hope to in the near future. It certainly would be a time-saver. We do try to adhere to customer suggestions, so I'm glad you brought this up.
4) Agreed I will definitely bring that up with tech, because now that you mention it, that is a bit irritating.
5) It's not you, we currently do not have the ability to create subfolders. I just don't think there's been much demand for it. I will ask around however and see how difficult it would be to implement.
6) We're always interested in expanding regarding headers, templates, and categories. I'll make a note of the bingo selection, but let me know if you have any others.
7) Yes, they unveiled those at TRAFFIC last month, and I must admit they're pretty cool. We are definitely looking into similar ideas, we just need to do a bit more research as to how we could it most efficiently for our customers. Because it's a new concept there are still some questions to be answered. I believe PP is still using a CPC format on those pages, instead of a CPA. Which would get the customer a higher click, why? Would the reverse be a better idea, or would too few people actually buy? I expect PP will be working kinks like that out for a few months, so we just want to make sure we are 100% ready before we jump into the fray. Plus PP is an "apply and maybe we'll let you in" company and we allow everyone, so certain things affect we two companies in different ways ... so in answer to your question, yes we are considering something similar.
8) That is a good idea, although I'm not sure how Google would feel about it as their opinion on the matter is probably something like "use the best keyword, not the most valuable." I always just say that the best keyword is general enough to get a lot of ads, but specific enough that they're very targeted. If you worry that your keyword might be too specific to generate ads, try Googling it and see if any sponsored links show up, especially across the top. Not quite the same thing, but it'll give you a good idea.
No pain at all, I'm always happy to help. Glad to have you as a customer, and like I said, drop me a PM if you'd like me to look into your account. Thanks for taking the time to ask questions, I'm sure you weren't the only one wondering these things.
Cheers,
Lucas
