I've been reading about development of sites to increase domain value. Is there any way to automate this process and not get banned by Google for duplicate content? (and without creating a keyword scraping splog)

I think using some combinations of RSS you will surely able to do it. I had done this on one of my site. But I took it off and pointed it to the parking. I will look for some demo and let you know.
