How much earnings did you have in past till today from your directories?

I made some directories in 2005 and they have earned around 4K till today.

I have some directories don't even remember where they are hosted :grin:

I have made 5 figures from it. ;) In past 3 years. But yes have worked like that 5 figures for marketing it from my side. Sometimes I would also think that isn't this enough now.... still I would go on and on getting links all the time.

five figures is nice income and i wish i also make some figures from some of my sites. i am not so good in marketing side everytime i start a website it doesn't gets traffic high enough to make good profits. i think i will learn a lesson or two from here and then try them out till i get some good traffic.

i have just started a paid directory business and so far just earning a couple of hundreds in it. I was in the directory business last year but it free and general and not getting anything from it just a pure time loose approving sites.

I am still thinking to have one.hope I shall soon have one.

You guys really earning in directories? I have some undeveloped domains so thinking to open one directory on my one domain. :smile:

Sure, but it takes some work to have a good directory. It's not like a site you can just put up and then collect the checks. At least mine aren't like that.

I have some directories they are earning which could be called good. But marketing efforts were much more then expected. Everytime I make a link I keep in mind that others are also working for their directories. The directory market might get saturated sometimes soon if it hasn't till now.
