I was 18. In fact, SiliconFinance.net was the domain. Hence my screen name SiliconFinance. No, I didn't want to finance breast enhancement surgery for young females. I was thinking more along the lines of a venture capital firm that provided capital to young startups. That was before the Internet bubble burst the first time and at a time when all I did was check stocks online. It was the most fascinating thing to a finance major in college especially since you could own your own stock and manage it online. Today, that seems ridiculous, but back then the online stock sites had barely even gotten started.

How old were you and what was the significance of the domain you purchased?

I was 47 years old, but that was 8 years ago. I registered a domain for my company web site in 1999. I had to pay $70 for two years registration.

I started webmastering when I was 19 years old. That was 6 years ago.

Right now I am 26. Just became 26 on this 12th April.

I'm still 24 years old and I purchased my first domain when I'm 23 years old. So in short I'm in web mastering field still 8 months. And my first domain name is vavk.com. And one of my friend help me to buy this domain name.
