I have a site selling scripts and readymade turnkey websites. I am doing the marketing myself. So tips and ideas would be most welcomed for my marketing and how should i approach it.

There are many ways of promoting a site. Different techniques are used, depending on the kind of audience you are trying to reach with your site. The best sorce of promotion for any site that I have found is purchasing some space with google advertising. There is also some cool advertising space on yahoo. In my unproffessional oppinion if you want your site to go some where fast, try looking into those.

BTW you can also try making up some cool looking advertisments of your own and swapping add space with other sites. Thats always very effective.

Write articles about the turnkey business and submit them at article sites

I usually just submit to search engines and RSS feed sites, promote my sites in signature files on relevant forums, and also run competitions which I then advertise on competition web sites.

I get a lot of responses from competitions, and it has been fairly easy to get companies offering prizes too.
