From the way you are asking for service, I'm not sure you know too much about how it works and what to avoid. I suggest you visit www.SeoPros.org and see what they have on their site. One of the options is to have them send out an RFP (Request For Proposal) where you say what you want and then a number of companies will send you bids on your project.

If you are looking for getting some top listings for things that also get traffic, you should be ready to spend some serious money, depending on what your site is about.

Make sure you check their references and be careful if they show you examples of "top rankings". You can find my client JR Roberts's site in the top listing at Google for "security expert".

Pretty impressive, huh? I must really be good, yes? Well, I think I do ok, but here's the thing: We were not trying for a #1 ranking for "security expert"!!! :-)

Many SEOs will show your nice rankings for things they weren't even trying for. How much traffic you may get for that can depend on how many people use it and how well it matches what you offer.

The thing is that we can do this and there is no doubt at all that we cannot deliver the results.

The thing is that in our recent conversation on the IM it had been mentioned that you will pay us after the work is done or you are on the top positions. While I ask for the advance you assume that I am asking for the upfront payment because I am not confident enough. But that's not the scenario. I am confident enough that I will get you the top positions and that is why I had urged for an advance payment.

We have always worked with 100% advance payment in past. We work for whatever amount you pay us. If you pay us five dollars then we work for five dollars and then do another work. If you pay us hundred dollars then we work for your site worth of hundred dollars.

When I met with the main guy who handles the SEO project's labor work for me, he informed me that "poker" keyword is a premium one. Targetting Google for the poker keyword is not a game of one or two months. The sites that are on top of google are making thousand of dollars per day. And they also have teams of SEO with whom we would have to fight for the right of our place in the top of the index.
