I hate the friendly redirect page but for some reason it's not an option to turn it off in my usercp. It's suppose to be there.

If you are referring to the page that redirects you back to the home-page on login to the forum (or during certain functions like searches), you'll sadly have to cope. It exists for the simple reason that some older browsers (and some users' settings & security, even with newer browsers) won't allow for redirection. Therefore, that page, because of the link on it, exists.

It would be possible for Admin Nameslot to make the redirection faster. However, for slower browser users' systems that might be a problem.

While we know you are in a rush to get in, when you login...........

Well I can do the bang page scenario but if someone gets into problem due to it then he or she will just remain on the original page instead of being redirected to the newer one.

For making it shorter I will check out the code today and see what can be done. :)

Maybe you don't understand...the option to turn off friendly redirect page is part of mybb software. So unless you removed it, have an old version of mybb, or simply don't have it in your template file...it should be there.

It's annoying to see whenever I post. I can type fast and browse fast. Anything that a site does purposely to slow it's users down does nothing but push them away. I don't need patience. I can click away to a faster site.

I am a mybb pro...you should PM me. I own mybbcentral and write a lot of plugins for mybb. If you need help FIXING what's broken in mybb just let me know. It's most likely that you just don't have the setting in the template for usercp. Go to mybb and to your usercp. You will see the option per user to turn off friendly redirect page. It's been there for some time now.
