Hello all of you, Yesterday I visited Namepros.com and I show lots of .mobis threads. People buy and sell .mobis on NP. I want to buy some .mobis domains but I don't know what is the future of .mobis.
Can anybody tell me what is the future of .mobis. I really need your suggestions so please help me out and post here what you think about .mobi domains.

I used to think they were going to be very HOT and almost tried to by wine.mobi. If I had, I would not be here now, I would be in someplace warm on a vacation.

But my feeling was that the would be hot, because as more people have web access phones, there would be more demand. But I assumed that moble access would be using WML/WAP, not normal web browsers. If you don't need WAP, why do you need a different TLD?

So with my limited knowledge, I think they are ok, but I would not put a lot of money in them and expect to get it back right away. On the other hand, people are paying a lot for them so I really don't know.

I've seen people pumping too much money in and out of the .mobis so decided to keep out of it for sometime. No need to hurry myself on a roller coaster ride if it doesn't falls the first time I might try to get a ride in it later on. Not right now

The trend is your friend! I am into strictly mobi right now registering 15 per month average. I figure what can it hurt to own some prime names . Mobile is going to grow and I personally prefer getting onto a roller coaster when its slowed down at the beginning compared to trying to get on when its going full tilt later in the ride.

There is no denying that there is a lot of action and some money being made on mobis right now, but where are the web sites...?

Yes .mobi domain names price going high day by day but nielsencl is right I also don't see any .mobi sites on the internet.

I would say don't buy one for more that you can afford to lose, and turn around and sell it when you get an offer that makes money. :-)
