i would like to share my experience with other guys.

as all webmaster generally wants more and more traffic on their site but i will say that "only traffic is not important for any site which is selling online but conversion is also important"

Right now i m working on weight loss pills site and at begining i thought that weight loss is very competative keyword and if i will get ranking on that keyword i will get more traffic.so i done lots and lots work on that keyword and got ranking in top20.even though my conversion was not increase.than i studied other sites and do some research.and conclude that some non relevant traffic was there.means if any people want to search for weight loss information he will not buy the medicine.that was the reason why my conversion not increase.that i do some work for weight loss pills and it is on 3rd rank on google .co.uk.and i was happy to see that conversion was increased.

i would like to suggest newbies and seo guys that keyword research is very very important.just do work on those keyword which brings relevant traffic not only traffic.

Very true. The keyword research is at the beginning and the better this and the optimization is done, the better the quality of the traffic.

THEN the site owner needs to have a good site that is easy for the visitor to use and understand. The visitor also needs to find things that allow them to "trust" that the web site will deliver what it says it will and provide information to let them know who is behind the site.

Getting useless traffic which does not converts is just a waste of bandwidth.

I would rather have 20 users then 2000 if 2 out of my 20 targetted users buys my products.
