What are the best ideas to get relevant backlinks. I was send some emails to some site owners but the don't reply me. Then what is the way to contact them and get backlinks from them? If you have any other ideas then please share ideas with me.

best trick is to follow competitor, you will get all the links from which they are getting. just keep your eye on their back links.

Don't do what most people do, and just make a list and send them all the same email.

1) Visit the site. Take a look around. See if they have a links page and what the conditions are.

2) Create an email just for that site owner. Have something interesting to say about their site. If you have trouble with this, and you are just looking for links for your own dumb site, don't bother!

You may not even want to mention about links in the first email.

Don't let linking be the only reason you are contacting them.

3) Think about what you can offer them. Perhaps a link, perhaps telling someone else about their site or their business. Try to think in terms of you both getting something from your communication. Ask them if you can help in some small way.

In short, don't be a selfish link beggar. Most people are greedy and just want as many links as quickly as possible. See if you can connect with other people and find ways to also help them with different things.

The nice thing about this is that you may get more from the person than just a link. You may get other help and advice, some business and job leads, or they may tell someone else about you and your site.

And, you may also get links from sites that other competitors find difficult. :-)

I would also like to mention here that sometimes the payments are not only in money but it can also be like a barter system and you can barter with the site owner in return for a link.

You can obtain relevant backlinks by submitting to relevant directories if you are involved in a very niche area. "Business Management" to the "Business Management Directory" and things like that.
