Do you guys mind going on to my website, SchoolForums.org and letting me know what you think? We're fairly new and we'd like to get much more traffic and activity, but something is holding us back I think, but in all my years of admin experiance, I can't figure out for the life of me what that thing holding us back is.

It looks great, I like the colors and design. Here's what I would change: Decrease the height of the logo, and make the "Welcome to our Forums" box smaller (also don't use bold throughout that box). At least three or four subforums should show on the first page to draw the visitors into the site. Right now on my screen I can't see any forum on the first page ("above the fold") and if I'm in a hurry I would probably click away.

Also, email your members once a week with an update or a selection of most interesting threads, to get them to come back to the forum on a regular basis.

Same used to be the problem here. I think the traffic will flow in once the forums gets old.

Forum looks great - but for sure you have to work with your logo - simple site name? - I believe not enough - you have to have some icon/logo of books, school building, bus or else combined with the site name. Also must uitilize full width of the page.

I only have 27 posts and 29 members. So not bad. I'd love to be even that busy. Nice site.
