WOW this was really a good one.

Implemented it 3 times and everytime it was showing unknown logical errors.

Bumped my head 1000 times in the keyboard and then settled for this solution. Its done now.

Meta descriptions and Meta keywords both. :grin:

Fetches the content from the thread. Makes the description by truncating it to first 100 characters.

Fetches subject as keyword and appends some other keywords to maintain the over all weight of the page.

This is implemented in such a way that it only works for the threads. While the other pages still can have the default description and keywords.

If you are not happy with the results, I have two suggestions:

1) I would not use the same static text in the keywords. It's too easy to spot and get filtered for. The best thing to do is just parse out some of the title and description and use that, or

You could also put together a fairly large list of keywords for the tag, and set it up to rotate them at random.

-domains, keywords, parking, sell domain
-domain host, domain parked, appraise domain, registration fee
-monetize domains, Names Lot forum, hosting, scripts for sale

I'm not crazy about this idea since you will get keyword usage that is not on the page, BUT I don't think that is a huge problem since I think the keywords tag is intended for the most important words, and also things that the page is about, but cannot appear on the page, like misspelled words.

2) You could try using more of the description, up to about 200 characters. I set a limit of about 250 for this tag, so I don't think using more will hurt.

Humm.... the thing is that the keywords are dynamic. Right now. I have only appended some major keywords at the back so they don't carry much weight. But can dilute the effect of the main keyword. Because thought would not like to over do the SEO. For diluting the effect of the dynamic fetched keywords used domain name related keywords because that is the main thing that most of the threads will be discussing about.

Hoping to see some good results from this one. It cannot be bad then the one we were already using.

Lets hope google indexes this new pages faster. Have just submitted a new sitemap 2 hours ago.

And have changed the crawling speed to fastest. From the google webmaster account.

The modification is showing great changes in SERP's. And don't know why but the pages are moving up and down each second for this keywords.

You should see some variation due to the many thousands of servers Google has and they are not all in sync all the time. I'm more interested in what you see in the web traffic reports once the changes get indexed. :-)

Would it be possible for users to be able to delete their own posts?

Occasionally, I mistakingly make a post twice and I cannot correct it without the assistance of a moderator. This is due to a poor latency on my Internet connection from our old router, so it can happen at any time and I don't want to annoy any of the moderators with such a simple error.

Well friend that option was enabled by default. I had to turn it off because sometimes the users make posts lots of posts and then one day they decided to delete them all.

This would not help us anyway in getting good rankings in the search engines. BTW our staff is not bothered by anything. So even if you make mistake of double posting 10 times in a day you can notify the staff just by pushing the report button on the right hand side bottom corner.
