RE: What is good domain?

Good domains are short as much as possible; be it one word or more. It should be relevant to the purpose of the registration. Should be from any hot needed niche: insurance, pharmaceutical, auto, voip, internet. It should have natural traffic, age is additional valuable quality. It can be registered in any suffix. If the .com is no longer available you can go for .net and etc. Cheers.

RE: What is good domain?

.com is the best..I've developed a four point scoring system to determine whether a given domain name is a good choice. Give one point for each criterion that passes muster. Four out of four is best, though you'll seldom score that high. http://www.wilsonweb.com/wmta/domain-name.htm..

You can read the tips there...and i also wanna share some tips to you...http://www.thejobware.com/2010/11/job-hunting-tips-things-to-do-after.html

Hope links help..:D

RE: What is good domain?

Domain extension you mean...

.COM is always the best. It is the most common of all the domain name extensions. But who says your site won't rank if you have a .NET or .ORG? It all depends on how you market your niche.

RE: What is good domain?

the problem for new starters is that it is hard to find a desired .com since it's likely to be registered. in this case you have to look for other options which is a major reason for the launch of the .co extension that has turned out to be very popular and valuable

Yes and the domain name extension matter too. I always opt to .COM, .NET or .ORG

RE: What is good domain?

For me keyword domains are the best. Keyword domains are always easy to access & learn very easily.
