decalring income/tax (UK) from affilates

decalring income/tax (UK) from affilates

do you have to declare income receieved from affilates, i have some travel domians and looking to sign up to a travel affilate offering the booking, hotels, etc, the full works. would i have to declare the income from this

We do in the US. Almost any money you receive should be declaired, but you may want to ask a tax person.

Yes I think you have to declare it in Income tax if it is a source of your income.

You can put your expenses also in it.

Means if you earned $100 from it and you spent $50 for its advertising then $50 is your profit. Which will be called your income and which will be taxable in most of the countries.

Other things might also be involved but that depends on the country you live in.

If they are from the UK then you have to follow the rules of the E.U.

I think this might help out, you will have to read around but this will point you in the right direction.

But always be in contact with a tax official , because in all countrys they are only a phone call away (granted you have the phone number)
