People get married for many reasons. A correct understanding of the purpose of marriage determines, to a lager extent, the success of marriage. The book of books says.
Depth determines height. The foundation of a storey building, definitely, cannot be compared with that of twenty-five superstructure. To succeed in marriage, a proper consideration and attention must be given to the foundation.
A close study of many marriage shows that the issue of foundation is a major requirement in building a lasting relationship. Several people have made a shipwreck of their destinies because they entered into marriage without a proper understanding of its true and divine purposes.

Why marry? Good question. I, for one, see no particular reason for it. It is only a piece of paper, it proves nothing and when problems occur helps even less. Of course I haven't found my significant other yet, if I will, I might become more romantic and change my mind... not likely though.

i guess marriage is like a retirement plan.
when you get retired you need money and honey to be at your side.
to look after you.

People get married to sanctify and solemnize their union and their vow to each other. But sad to say, some people no longer perceive it as such but see marriage as merely a piece of paper. :(

Marriage is necessary in our society. Marriage is a relationship between two people as well as with two families. But now days, most of the people do marry for enjoying different benefits especially financial benefits which get after marriage.

Wow this is such a huge question to answer. Why Marry? I got married because I love my husband and I want to spend the rest of my life with him. Some say that they got married because the girl is pregnant. I think this is such a trend now a days. In my own opinion, we should not let them get married if that is the only reason why. It can just create a bigger problem, most especially if both parents are too young.
