Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Kate Bosworth, Lauren Conrad, and Nicky Hilton. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Kate Bosworth’s Feminine Militaristic Look

Kate Bosworth hosted a party to celebrate her Nylon magazine cover this week, and she looked modelesque in a white lace minidress, with an oversize military jacket on top, and black lace-up ankle booties.

The colors of Kate’s look are perfect for this time of the year, when fashion is all about the transition to spring! By pairing this light jacket over the springy dress, Kate looks perfectly appropriate for March. The femininity of the lace is balanced by the cool, rugged feel of the jacket, and the black shoes pop against the softer colors; the lace-up detail on the booties also speaks to the jacket’s military aesthetic.

For Kate’s look, you want to start off with a dress that has a spring or summer vibe. This Free People dress resembles hers with its large, woven lace patterns and short, raw-edged hemline, as well as its white color. A soft green military jacket on top tones the dress down, and the colors contrast perfectly with some black lace-up ankle booties, which will give you a leg up. To keep with this feminine/military feel, try wearing a bunch of unique rings or bracelets — this ring is in the shape of an eagle, a gives off a similar vibe to the outfit as a whole.
Look 2: Lauren Conrad Plays with Proportions

Lauren Conrad was out and about this week in an outfit that gave her the look of a sleek physique and mile-long legs — the best part is, you can get the same look, too! Lauren wore fresh, spring-appropriate colors: light denim with a kick-flare that extended long past her heels, and a peach-colored button-down shirt tucked in at the front, but left exposed in the back (and hanging longer). She accessorized with a quilted Chanel bag, a double-finger ring, and her signature statement of oversized sunglasses.

Gap has a variety of jeans that create a flattering silhouette with their long hemlines; these are best worn with heels (which become hidden for the most part), so that your legs look super long. I am in love with the shoes I chose for this outfit, by the way — these studded slingback clogs are spring perfect and would also look great with skinny jeans, skirts, and shorts. The best part? They look much more expensive than they are!

Keeping with this neutral color palette, a beige quilted handbag looks chic and has a cute bow detail on the front for interest. Tuck in a peach-colored button down shirt to the front of the jeans, and add a gold colored double-finger ring for a little bling.
Look 3: Nicky Hilton’s Summer-y Stripes

If you are lucky enough to be in shorts weather, try out Nicky’s outfit yourself! If not, keep this look in mind for when temperatures rise as spring approaches.

This week, Nicky wore a black tank top tucked into loose-fitting striped shorts, with a straw fedora hat and wedge sandals. She added a pop of color in the form of a red quilted Chanel bag. This outfit is totally comfortable with soft and loose-fitting pieces, but looks put-together and chic thanks to the color palette of classic colors.

A V-neck tank top that is loose-fitting, tucked into some black and white striped shorts, is ultra-chic, and only you will know how comfortable you feel in the fabrics! Accessories pull the easy look together: A straw fedora and red bag add color and a trendy factor to the classic feel of the striped shorts.

As for shoes, you have a lot of freedom to decide based on where you’re wearing the look: This outfit can transition from daytime-appropriate (it’d work great at the beach over your bathing suit) with some flats or flip flops, to nighttime-chic with the addition of some chunky heels.
