What do you think are the potential of domain names with hyphens (of course, without them would be preferable).

Do domain names with hyphens get reasonable type in traffic?

Type in traffic might be bit harder for hyphen domain names. But yet they are as good as others from SEO perspective.

Hyphenated domains are viewed the same as non hyphenated names by search engines. In a user perspective they will get less type in traffic like nameslot says, as people forget the -

overall some webmasters do not like hyphenated names as they can look more spammy.
But if you are looking for an exact matching term, they may be a viable option.

Domains with hyphens mmight also be a bit harder to remember than those without spaces.
