I just made a small donation. I hope you change your mind, I just saw your site for the first time and it seems pretty cool, but yeah, people are just going to take whatever they can unless you control it.

Let us know what you decide. I think you have more people that are interested in helping than you realize.

Maybe something like domain "loans" would be a good idea. People get to use a domain with the understanding that they can't own it until they earn enough to pay for it so you can buy another one to let someone else use. Sort of like the idea of "microloans", where a small amount of money helps people in need go into business for themselves.
