Fresh Content or new images?

I want to ask that,
If I change the images on my homepage very often, will Google like it as they like content update(text)?

Will I rank better than a competitor site that never changes its images?

Can't say about it.
There is a risk!
google can also penalize your site and drop your position.

I dont think there will be any impact.However you may lose some traffic still from Google image search if your previous posted images already get indexed.
