Have Apple changed anything with the Operating System for the Ipad 2?
Sorry if I offend any Apple maniacs who love their products but really out of everything I've seen in reviews and anything from Apple, I haven't seen one change in the software. The only difference is they reduced the depth, so now it's thinner. A new 2 core cpu, that many new tablets have incorporated. I mean the ad I saw on their website only shows a new magnetic cover.

Why have they released it? They only released the iPad about a year ago, now they are releasing a new one with a difference in just hardware?

Apple is still way ahead of the other Tablets in terms of the sales, despite what the specs show. Any of the reviews that I've seen still put the iPad 2 out in front of all the others. The real change in the OS isn't going to happen until the fall when iOS 5 is released. That will bring some much needed improvements to the iPad.
