Do you code your php files in notepad and other simple text editors?

Or do you use any IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for coding your php scripts?

I have been coding since many years in Notepad without any help of any IDE. Recently I found a free php ide program.

Dev PHP you can download it from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/devphp/

If you know of any other IDE's for php then please post them here also mention the good and the bad things about it.

Well I have seen many free php editors but the best one that I liked is the HTML kit. I have been using it even when I knew nothing about php.

I started learning HTML with that one. Slowly I came onto php and then moved to Notepad for coding my php scripts. After sometime I found out that HTML kit is supporting the PHP file extension and it had been there all the time.

To download it go here http://www.htmlkit.com/download/

Sometimes Notepad is the best IDE for coding php scripts. HTML kit also rocks. Lets see what others have to say.

i use notepad and constructioner for editing the files. i am not so good in php so it doesn't matters which php ide i use. i am rarely using any.
