Review my site made for domainers by domainers

Hi Guys and Gals,

On March 7th, I announced my first personal site,(http://www.freenameexchange.com/) which is a free domain marketplace to buy/sell domain names. The site was created using the proceeds from the sale of one of my domain names. I was fed up with the domain marketplaces that charge submission fees and transaction costs.

I took a lot of suggestions, advice, and ideas by many domainers and implemented them in the site's design. Not only can a domainer offer a domain for sale, but he or she can also offer it for lease or announce that they are looking for partners for development.

Every account is free. Every domain listing is free. When a domain is sold/leased/or developed because of a site listing, there are no fees or commisions.

I am already hearing about some really cool ideas, suggestions, and feedback about where I should take the site in the future. I am composing a list. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. If I use your idea and you have your domains listed, I will provide you with free premium domain listings in return.

Below is a list of the latest suggested upgrades (Can you suggest others? What are most important to you?):
1) Statistical Domain evaluation tools
2) More options to show off domains
3) SSL
4) Views on the actual domain page
5) Premium Name Certifications
6) Add more content to the homepage
7) Rework the logo to let visitors know more about the site (Free Exchange of Domains)
8) Recent sales
9) More content after the featured listings
10) Add text to the site to help improve search ranking
11) Syndicate listings (provide code so site owner can create a cron job to pull and update file once a day; export domain and description but not user)
12) Links to domain tools

I think the idea behind the site is great, however most of the upgrades in your list seem to be aimed at the seller?

My No.1 upgrade suggestion is: Advanced Search

Time spent trawling through long lists of domains is time spent not buying, developing, optimizing, monetizing, reselling.... :tongue:

A search feature I have always wanted on a domain marketplace is the ability to search for LLN/LNN, but exclude LNL

Some have "Exclude digits" and "Exclude dashes", but the ability to find the exact pattern would really set your site apart.

Your site looks really good. I think I had seen it before also. Maybe from some other forums.

To me the graphics and the colors looks outstanding.

From your suggested changes I liked.

Adding more content to the pages.
Domain tools. (Or a link to domain tools)

Oh yes remembered it. It was from our super moderator nielsencl that I heard of this site for the very first time. It was on our own forum that I saw the link of your site some days ago.

On a scale of 10 points I would give it 9 points. :grin:

There are a few more cool things we have planned for release this week that should help grow the site and cater to sellers and buyers in ways that other sites are not.
