short question on domain names registration

I would like to know can you be ranked on google higher and get more visitors just by having a domain name that spells exactly like a product,place,name etc. without any marketing and no content on website or just parked? Example: If I have a domain name called God.com and people search for god on google will my website will be ranked higher and show in the first page just for having the name without doing any marketing work and anything on the website other then parking?

Yes you can most of the times. But yet marketing and optimization can defeat you anytime in the google rankings.
