What do you think i should do with my domain like5.com, Keep the directory and make it into a forum or a social networking site or sell it. I get about 300 uniques per day now and with pr3 need ideals.
If anyone wants to buy the domain name please give me a offer.
I liked your directory, but now the site is a forum...?
What do YOU want? What I'm asking is, do you just want to sell it and make a little money, or keep it and work on it until it starts making you some money every month? After you get it going it shouldn't require too much work and then when you sell it you should get a much better price for it.
I did a search in Google for like5 and it looks like you already have some time invested in the directory, why not just settle on keeping it as a directory? If you want I can tell you what I've done to make Consultant-Directory.com work well for me, but I've had the site about 4 years now and have over 10,000 listings. Some people think if you have 10,000 listings it's a big deal and you are a "real" directory, but I don't know about that...
I think it really depends on your financial goals and also your skills and interests.
If the site is moving too much it will not get anywhere. I had been in your shoes in past. I know I had one domain name to play around with. And I played too much with it. Ultimately getting it out of the search engine index.
Now I don't do that. The thing is make it stable and carry on with some other project. Come back to it after 2 months or so. You will know what you want changed or what not.
