For an average hand-reg, a few minutes around checkout may be irrelevant. But with a name you really want, the important moment isn't when payment is sent. It's when the registration is actually completed. Crypto can make that distinction more visible because network confirmation and registrar...

I think that’s when a lot of founders realize the domain matters more than they expected at the start.
