Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Brittany Snow, Ellen Pompeo, and Kate Moss. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Brittany Snow’s Bright Tunic Top

Brittany Snow looked bright and cheerful at the Grove in L.A. while doing a shoot for MTV this past week. In a flowy red tunic with floral accents, skinny jeans, nude open-toed booties, and a long stranded necklace, Brittany looked like the picture of spring — too bad that for those of us on the East Coast, it’s a while away!

To create an outfit like Brittany’s, look for a bright tunic top that is flowy — if it has any kind of print, even better! Pair it with some skinny jeans, a long necklace, a nude clutch and some matching nude-colored booties; these have a unique architecture to them, and are quite a statement on their own. The great thing about this outfit is that it easily transitions from day to night: for daytime, opt for flats or sandals, and for night, pick the heeled booties to dress it up.
Look 2: Ellen Pompeo’s Stripes & Denim Combo

Ellen Pompeo put together a fresh daytime look by pairing a nude and black striped mini-dress with a denim jacket — denim jackets have slowly been making a comeback; celebs like Jessica Alba and Dianna Agron of Glee have been spotted rocking denim jackets in the recent months, too. Ellen also wore black tights with black moccasin flats, and some purple-tinted metal sunglasses to finish off her look.

As we know, in fashion, trends tend to recycle themselves, so if you haven’t thrown out your denim jacket from a few years back, it’s time to pull it out of the closet! It’s the perfect way to break up the stripes of dress, which has a flattering shape to it because of the elastic waist. Black tights work with the black moccasin flats (which are super comfy) and purple tinted sunglasses add a bit of color to the overall look.
Look 3: Kate Makes Shorts Cold Weather-Proof

Kate Moss was spotted in Paris with her boyfriend this week, in another signature Kate look – shorts and tights. This is not the first time Kate has paired tights with shorts, but here she has created a look which is unexpected and versatile. Olive green shorts break up the black top and black tights, as well as the black boots and black carryall bag. An oversize blazer adds structure to the outfit and dresses it up, while a gold pendant necklace is a fun accessory, adding some shine and color to the look.

I was excited to use shorts for this one — clearly, I have a case of the winter blues! Depending on your climate, you can wear either thick tights or thinner ones underneath. The blazer is an important aspect of the look, making it look polished rather than overly casual. I chose a long hanging tassel necklace from Forever 21 — an inexpensive way to make the look sparkle. Coincidentally, the tassel is mirrored by the hanging tassels on the bag — all in all, a perfect match.
