I am currently in a situation that a domain seller is wanting to charge me the fee of the payment processor. I am trying to work with the seller on this but in the mean time let’s discuss.
Per his auction he stated that he would take the fee if it was chose to pay this way. Now that the auction is closed he wants me to pay the fee. Although it’s a low sum of money for 2 domain names and 10% fee.
His auction was 2 domains starting at $5. I bid and for the last 120 hours no one else has bid so I won the domain names the pare two word .com butmissing one letter to be of value. But I think I can do something with them. He is now saying if I pay using this I need to pay the fee by the payment processor or I can pay via bitcoin. I have 0 bitcoin and never got into bitcoin so I’m not paying that way.
I will let you know how this goes.
Do you charge fees on the end or do you account for them in your pricing? I normally eat the fee in the end, I have also in the past paid extra without being asked which is where I was going but then he started with the IF I want to pay this way I need to add 10% that’s when that went out the door.
