Do nofollow links count?

Indeed it has long been known that Yahoo doesn’t discount nofollow links completely. It also seems that Google makes exceptions as well. Plus remember that the main function of a link is to bring visitors. The search engine “juice ” is just a side-effect so a link is a link no matter the attribute.

I am agreed with you that link is a link no matter that if that is nofollow or dofollow. If you use Ahref or majestic sites to check your back links you will find they also consider and show the nofollow links. In this way we can assume that Google and the other search engines might check the nofollow and consider them also.

The importance of a link is very high, whether it is dofollow or nofollow.
both links are good, and give weight age.
Dofollow links give high weight-age but nofollow links is also good for site traffic as well as ranking.
