Hmm Nick. I felt the domain 'freejavaguide' would get popular soon because of its name and so thought of selling it as I dont have the time to manage a website since I am working. Its a pretty good price Nick. 99 USD must be nothing for you ?
And If you can do somthing as in a website and host it in this domain whats the risk.. Generally when people see a list of domains and when they see a word free in that they would always click on that. Thats a general strategy of browsing.

But as you know I or not anyone else here or anywhere will put their money on a 1 day old domain.

They can if this was a single word or any brandable name. This one is developable and you will have to prove that this is a good name by getting some traffic for it.

Then it can go for 99 USD or more.
