Contractors are constantly being asked for references and proof of their work. New clients want to ensure that the contractor is competent about the work before agreeing to a large contract. Thanks to the different photo sites that are available, the task of providing proof has gotten a little easier.
More and more contractors have realized that having a website is not enough to generate new business. People have access to multiple sources of information such as friends, television, radio, printed material and the internet. In order to grab attention and turn prospects into potential customers, contractors need to continuously provide new information. This can come in the way of a blog as well as pictures from a photo sharing site.
Most photo sharing sites will allow the user to post a link on their primary site. The beauty of the photo sharing sites is that it allows the contractor to save hundreds of pictures and slowly trickle them to their website audience. They can also be used in emails as well as social media sites.
Using the pictures across a wide range of sites and methods of communication will increase exposure. Exposure usually leads to interest from new clients. And new clients results in new business. Contractors should be proactive in taking quality pictures of their work so that they can develop a "bragging" board of their past handiwork. Asking for a quote from the customer to use as a caption for the picture will make the process even better.
