Is it a good idea to optimize your website towards long tail keywords? Does google crawlers give priority to long tail kyword? Wht is the reason for people optimizing their site towards these type of keywords? please help Out!!!

I think the sorter key word like 2 or 3 words are best for a key word. but you should suggest a key word according to your site that what kind of site is based.
