Ranking: Important, or Over-rated?

Some of you may know that I provide Internet consulting and SEO services. One thing that I do that is differently is I pay no attention to rankings.

What I DO pay attention to is increased qualified (for good keywords) traffic.

I have created a small poll to get the opinions of those that visit here to see how important YOU think ranking is when you search.

I look through a number of pages because I might find it.

But for some reasons I agree with you but don't know why I love being #1 even if it is for less searched keywords.

Maybe this is because I am targetting multiple keywords at one time.
