I'm opposed to playing fast and loose with the "owner occupied" clause--though your point is well taken about legitimately changing your mind. Might it be relatively easy for a mortgage co to claim fraud if someone did this more than once or twice in rapid succession? It's pretty easy to establish actual (if not intended) residency history from credit records, etc, and my wife would be very irked if allegations for fraud of some kind could plauibly be leveled against us
