Somewhat of a review of GoDaddy

We hold many domains at GoDaddy, but their service has been disappointing of late. Probably as they’ve grown larger, they care less and less about each individual customer. The latest example was non-payment of our proceeds of the sale we did through GoDaddy Broker Service. Their staff made an error, so the payment did not arrive -- for which they never apologized and didn’t provide a copy of the payment confirmation (for conducting an investigation) and didn’t offer any compensation for this non-performance of obligations. We shall not use their service in the future – very expensive and doesn’t live up even to basic standards.

Hi, do you have a support ticket number with GoDaddy? .. I am happy to shoot their team a message to this post. I haven't ever had issues with them.

.. as for the deals, buyers often don't follow through with promisses.. this is the same with every business (some more and some less)..

We know for sure that GoDaddy received the payment from the Buyer more than two weeks ago, and promptly transferred our domain. However, the funds never reached us, and we have no proof (by way of payment confirmation, as banks provide), contrary to our numerous requests. Per GoDaddy terms, they declare that payments arrive in up to five business days. It has now been more than ten. Slippage in the level of service is clearly evident. And there was no response to our request for compensation for this disappointing tardiness.

We have a reference number generated by the GoDaddy Transaction Assurance Domain Broker Service, which is probably different form a Ticket Number. They admitted the “3 to 5 work days” standard, but refused to provide proof of payment and recommend to simply keep waiting. …Rather incredible, actually.

:) just mention here the reference number so they can look it up and return to you privetelly > this is a serious thing you are saying, and GoDaddy is not a business who would do this to their clients.

Making accusations that can damage a brand image and good name, without references, is not cool.

Good morning @Nora_Chu, I would highly advice to follow up with GD on your support ticket. This all sounds like some misunderstanding.

@godaddy have their official account with us, though, I think they will not get involved in public debates on public forums.
