The 100 character threshold is due to this type of threads.
You need to mention if there is any traffic or not. If the domain name is old enough. etc. So the appraisers who are providing the appraisals would get some idea without checking the age and other info and wasting the time in it.
Thanks but the thread will be locked. If you cannot provide that much info then you cannot expect someone else to do your work and dig the info of your domain name and give an appraisal.
If you yourself don't know when it is expiring or when it was created then you should check the whois info of your domains and it will let you know.
The thing is that I am doing this for the benefit of the users. Not mine.
You might have heard that the domains are also priced according to the age of domain name.
Let me give you an example.
If Nameslot.com is just registered then it can be Low $xx nothing more.
If you just write "Please appraise nameslot.com" in your threads then people will say Low $xx. Which in real is not an appraisal for it. It misguides you. Makes you feel frustrated. Why because you didn't provided more info for that domain name. And most of the appraisers would not even check if there is a website on it or if that website has traffic or what kind of Pagerank it does have. How many incoming links are there. What age the domain name is.
When you mention that it is a developed site. With this and that traffic numbers along with the revenue. Then the appraising party can base the appraisal on it. Which can give you a more clear idea.
Next Lets assume Nameslot.com was registered in 1995. So its age can also help the domain name to get more money out of it.
Now other appraisal providers here on the forum would not just say Low $xx when they just see "Please Apprasie Nameslot.com" like threads.
It will help appraisers to get a better understanding where the particular domain name stands. And it will not confuse the domain name owner and give him the rough price that the domain name can get.
