The big difference backlinks

I am a beginner in the SEO world.I just made a blog.As a novice, I am really interested in learning more about it.Please listen to me their experiences and advice here.My query is about backlinks.Even Yahoo's tool, I had a 3000 back-links.Dissimilarity is great, and I do not know why.1000 The first link came from Yahoo! only one site I checked out.This is typical?I think it's odd.If Yahoo is updated regularly backlinks, I was wondering.

Guys it’s really making confusing to many people that how Google generate back links. When any check for yahoo back link its different we understand both have different back link algo but yet how this big difference create in both algo.... what are the facts behind Google algo that we get a big difference between yahoo back links and Google. I have website Google giving just 7 links and other hand yahoo shows 2000 back links. It’s just an example but i really want to know facts about Google back algo.
