The World Wide Web has grown rapidly since it was introduced to us in the early 90's. In those days there wasn't much concern over issues like deep linking. Linking was seen as critical to the Internet. Most companies were happy to have others link to them because it brought new visitors and the possibility of new customers. Those times have changed, and the concern over deep linking has grown into a huge controversy over intellectual property rights, interference with advertising, and unfair competition. As developers of web content and as advisors to content developers, we found this topic of special interest.

Deep linking is important in all respect because a homepage give only an idea about what type of business they provide and details are always in the inner pages. So when you build links, remember about inner pages. You can use a keyword as a anchor text which is related to your inner page details.

Hi,
Deep Linking is, making a hyperlink that points to a specific page or image on a website, instead of that website's main or home page. This is beneficial because it brings visitors to your site ( not at the home page) and helps to decrease the over-all bounce rate of the website. At the same time, generate business through other pages of websites.
