Welcome to NamesLot!
This thread is our shared space for welcoming new members. Whether you have just registered your first domain, already manage a portfolio, or build businesses around memorable names, we are glad you have joined us.
NamesLot brings together domain investors, buyers, sellers, brokers and web entrepreneurs, with a particular focus on .com names. You will find discussions about the domain industry, valuations, expired domains, auctions, sales, parking, traffic, website development and marketing. There is room here for both first questions and experience gained over many years.
Start by creating your own introduction in our introductions forum:
www.nameslot.com
You can tell us a little about yourself, for example:
• What name or nickname would you like us to use?
• How did you become interested in domain names?
• Which types of names, industries or projects interest you?
• Are you buying, selling, brokering, developing, or just exploring?
• What would you like to learn, and what experience could you share?
A few sentences are enough. Only share information you are comfortable making public. An introduction helps other members point you towards useful discussions and people with similar interests.
Before posting a listing, read the forum rules and choose the right marketplace section. Clear titles, accurate descriptions and straightforward terms make conversations easier. Search existing discussions for useful background, and ask questions when you need help. Everyone was new once.
Established members are welcome to greet newcomers, share helpful links and offer practical advice. Please keep conversations friendly, respectful and relevant so that new members feel comfortable taking part.
We look forward to hearing your story and seeing you around the forum.
