Affiliate Marketing is a method of promoting a product or service in which an affiliate is then rewarded for every website visitor, subscriber, customer and/or sale provided via their efforts to the actual business selling the product or service.

Affiliate Marketing simply means that you earn a commission on any product or service you sell to others, usually selling those products or services online. In some cases you may sell offline and give the person you refer your affiliate link when they call the company to place an order.
