I have launched a new site just 2 months ago. And when i usually surf this kind of forums or any SEO related forums. People are telling me about SandBox.

I would like to know what it is and when will my site be put into sandbox.

Is there anyway to avoid this situation?

In my view sandbox is indexation of your website by SE.

May be iam wrong because i too don't have any information about this.

But this is MY VIEW

The Google Sandbox is very similar to a new website being placed on probation, and kept lower than expected in searches, prior to being given full value for its incoming links and content.

The result is that a site does not receive good rankings for its most important keywords and keyword phrases. Even with good content, abundant incoming links and strong Google PageRank, a site is still adversely affected by the Sandbox effect. The Sandbox acts as a probation for sites, possibly to discourage spam sites from rising quickly, getting banned, and repeating the process.

Google has an ageing delay called the sandbox - basically it keeps newly registered domains from appearing on competive phrases - its meant to deter spammers - ie only serious long term players get anywhere.

Sandboxing can last from a few months to more than a year depending on how popular the particlular phrase is.
