What is your favorite effect to use in Photoshop?

I'm personally a fan of the gradient tool. Without it, I think that some graphics would be stale and boring, while using gradient allows the image to pop. In other words, it gets in your face and looks exciting.

Magic tool is my favorite tool in Photoshop, with magic tool we can easily turn normal images into transparent background images. Background eraser actually takes more time to do background transparent.
