Hello friends,

Please give me an appraisal of twut.com as a domain name alone and as a developed website.

Registered 15 months ago.
Expiry date: I will never let it expire.
Google PR: 3
Traffic : 100 to 150 uniques perday and rising.

Please give me your opinions. Would like to hear all the comments.

Hi Nick,

The domain is not worth anything to me for that site. If I had the domain I would try to figure out something that would go with it and have some meaning, like "The Web Underworld Today" or something like that...

But as a developed site I would look at what went into the site construction and content. Then the current raw traffic numbers and then how much the site is generating as it is now. The real key for a buyer is how much is the site making? As a business investment you want to get your money back in 6 months to 18 months without changing anything.

Not knowing what the site is making, I'll guess about $1 a day and would say it's worth $150-$450.

Yes you are right. The domain name is not suitable for the site that is currently on it.

But to just sit on the domain name for some years I have monetized it and thought will carry on with paying the registration fees for it as it might earn that much in an year easily.

Have been offered $450 for it last year on one another forum. But don't know I was not interested much in selling it off at that time.

Hoping to make some money from the domain name someday if I get time to renovate it completely.
